Legal Question in Criminal Law in Florida
Is it required that a police officer/detective READ you your Miranda rights, or can they have you read and sign your own Miranda?

Let's put it this way, they can't just put a piece of paper with the Miranda warnings in front of you without reading it to you, and then ask you questions. Otherwise, the statements given would not be admissible.
