Legal Question in Criminal Law in Florida
For research purposes only.
There is a person that claims only white people get bonds in a criminal case. Can you please post an example, where this is not true? Thank you!

That seems like a rather ridiculous contention. I would not be surprised to hear that white people get lower bonds or are more likely to get a bond when the granting of any bond is discretionary. In the vast majority of cases, under Florida law people are entitled to a bond. So all kinds of people get bonds for crimes. You would simply have to go to any jail for initial appearances. That's when an arrested person sees a judge within 24 hours of their arrest. Many times people already pay their bond before they've even seen a judge.
