You should go into court at arraignment, find the prosecutor, and ask him for pre-trial diversion. As a first timer, they will likely give it to you. That way, you will not even need a lawyer for this offense. If the SAO doesn't give you PTD, then you can hire a lawyer.
Re: resisting arrest with out violence
sounds very fair to me.

I would have charged you 3 or 4 times that.

While the price is a bit low or definitely a "good deal" you should at least speak with a lawyer who reguarly practices in the area of criminal law.
As a first time offender you should be eligible for the Misdemeanor Diversion Program, if you completed this program your charges would be dismissed and you could later have your arrest expunged. This program is not guaranteed and is offered at the discretion of the State Attorney's Office. The program has time limits and rules that must be explicitly followed and a lawyer who does not regularly deal with the program stands a much greater chance of screwing it up.
So, in short if you are comfortable with your family lawyer then it is definitely a good price.
If you would like a second opinion I was a prosecutor here in Broward and now concentrate in Criminal Defense.
