Legal Question in Criminal Law in Florida
Restraining Order
My fiance and I live across the street from my brother-in-law they got into a fight and my brother-in-law filed a restraining order, we are about 100 feet apart. What are the legalities behind this as we both own the home and live in same with our children.

Re: Restraining Order
No doubt the injunction or "restraining order" will allow for this close proximity of living however will no doubt restrict some contact. Your attorney should be able to address this with the court at the injunction hearing.
