Legal Question in Criminal Law in Florida

Robbery Charge

My husband was arrested on a robbery charge 7/2006, no weapon, it was a fake BB gun he used, as he was addicted to pain killers and was in a desperate state of mind. He was sentenced to 1 1/2 yrs and has served 9 months so far in a FL prison. Any chance we can get him out as it is a first offense? We are unable to visit him, he has a 9 yr old daughter and we live in NC now since we had to move. Around how much does a FL lawyer cost for this sort of circumstance? We are afraid for his well being and state of mind being in jail so long now. We have been married for 10 years and this is a first offense as I have mentioned.

Thank you.

Re: Robbery Charge

If he has already been sentenced it is unlikely that you could do anything to commute his sentence.
