Legal Question in Criminal Law in Florida

Robbery of illegal property

My friend robbed a drug dealer for $20 worth of marijuana. He used no weapons and came in the front door when the drug dealer was not home. The door was open and he went in. No damage was made to anything. The Dealer came home and saw his car there and call the police. Later that week, an investigator approached my friend and my friend wrote a statement telling the truth. The investigator seeing that it dealt with drugs said that he could not continue the case. He did not hear anything about it for about 5 months. He went to a job interview and they said there was a warrant for his arrest. We looked it up online and it is for robbery. We are not sure if the drug dealer is pressing charges but is my friend looking at any time for stealing marijuana? Please help. He is ready to turn himself in to the policy but would like to know what is going to happen to him before he does?

Iv'e never seen this scenario but I'm sure he can be charged. Entering a home and stealing anything is burglary. Im not sure why they charged robbery unless there is an allegation of force. Yes hes looking at time, he needs a lawyer.
