Legal Question in Criminal Law in Florida
Sealed record
I am applying for an insurance license. I was charged with a felony 5 years ago. I have since had those records sealed through the courts. Can I leagally answer ''no'' to the question regarding whether or not I've been charged with a felony for my insurance license?

Re: Sealed record
The statute says that you may lawfully deny the arrests covered by the sealed record, so you may legally say "no" to the question.
