I PLEAD OUT TO MY POSESSION CHARGE ON dEC 18 2013 .. nO OTHER CHARGES WERE FILED HAVING ANYTHING TO DO WITH mY PHONES AND COMPS.... HOW LONG DO THE SHERIFFS HAVE TO RETURN MY COMPS AND PHONES?
1 Answer from Attorneys
If they are no longer being used for evidence and there is nothing illegal on the phones or computers, then you can get them back right away. Sometimes you have to do a motion, but your first step is to just call the sheriff and get them back. Some will say no problem, while others will make you jump through hoops. Bottom line, if they're not illegal, they're yours and you can get them back.
