Legal Question in Criminal Law in Florida

Search warrant after vehicle search?

I was sitting in a parking lot talking on my cell phone, and a cop drove past and ran my tag and found that my DL was suspended for being behind on child support. After I was arrested and placed in the back of the police car, the officer then searched my truck (Yukon) and went through my breif case(had my laptop in it) and another bag that was in my truck that had a camera and a camcorder, and my Ipod. Both bags were in the very back of the truck and they were both closed (bag was zipped). My truck was then impounded and a search warrant was then applied for and then served on the truck. The warrant was only for the Laptop, the cameras, Ipod and my cell phone.. I also had my cell phone on me and the cop took it from my belt and then put it in my truck. The arrestting officer made a call to a Detective, and then told him what was found in my truck (the bags and their contents).

Is a search warrant obtained in this manner legal? Thanks in advance for any advice or replies.
