Legal Question in Criminal Law in Florida
After sending a document to an employment verification company, I realized the date was incorrect. It was a copy of a business license that was copied a few years ago and I sent it without paying attention to it. I don't know if the state made the error or something my father did at the time (seriously doubt it). Unfortunately he passed, so I am unable to ask him about it. Will they most likely just deny my job application or would they take it further?

Probably the best thing you can do is to explain to the employment verification company the error. Give them details and they may understand.
