Legal Question in Criminal Law in Florida
sentence
if you went in front of a jury they said that you are guilty but the sentence date is sat for another date. does the jury has the last say or the judge.

The sentencing will be presided over by the judge alone.
You have a right to representation at this stage of the case and you will be able to provide evidence in an effort to convince the judge to impose the most lenient sentence possible.
