I would need to see the judgement to be sure of exactly what the sentence is, but it is possible that he was sentenced to time served and got three years probation. You need to talk to his attorney to find out for sure.

It appears that Judge O'Kane sentenced him to 51 weeks in the Orange County Jail (with 64 days credit for time served) followed by 3 years of probation. Keep in mind this is probably what is posted online. Sometimes the clerks make mistakes and don't always correctly post what the sentence is. What actually determines the sentence and what will tell you the sentence is the actual paperwork from court.
