Legal Question in Criminal Law in Florida
I am getting sentenced next month but my public defender will not be there. He told the judge that he is going into private work. So now what happens? Am I going to get sentenced with the presence of someone representing me or will it get postponed?

You will probably have a new PD assigned to your case, but it is also possible that the judge will continue it so that your new PD has time to prepare if necessary.
