Legal Question in Criminal Law in Florida

It is possible I may be served with a temporary restraining order.

What are my rights. Once the court date is set do I have the right to an

attorney and if I can't afford one will the court provide me with one?

This is a civil case, so you don't have all those "Miranda" rights you hear about on TV. You have a right to know when the hearing is set and you have the right to tell your side. You have the right to any lawyer you can afford who will take your case, but you don't get a free lawyer, even if you can't afford a lawyer. You don't, strictly speaking, have the right to call witnesses or cross examine the other side and the other side's witnesses, but you'll be allowed to do that.

Those are pretty much your "rights."
