sex charge

I have a sex charge from 1999 with a girl that had parental approvement whos family did not want to file charges but the state charged me anyway. If the victim and victim family write a letter to the goviners office and or the presidents office asking for amnisty would that be possible with a sex charge

The governor, not the president, would have the power to pardon you, since it's a state charge, not a federal charge.

In order to receive a pardon, it would take a lot more than a letter. You'd have to have your case reviewed by the governor and the pardon board (the governor's cabinet). It is a difficult process, and few pardons are granted without very good reason, such as strong showing of rehabilitation and extraordinary service to the community.
