shoplifting

will i go to jail for getting caught shoplifting for the first time? What will be my punishment?

Although you are facing jail time, because of your past the state will probably require you do some community service hours or pay a fine. Good luck and call anytime should you have any questions.

Although first time offenders do not usually receive a jail sentence, you should consult an attorney to review the strengths and weaknesses of your case and to discuss possible alternatives such as eligibility for a pretrial intervention program in your jurisdiction.
