Legal Question in Criminal Law in Florida
how to sign on as co counsel
My brother has a paid attorney, but we are not completely satisfied with the work. We feel that my brother should possibly sign on as co counsel on his own case, rather than pro se, work together with his attorney. Can this be done? If so, how? What would my brothers rights be as co counsel?

Re: how to sign on as co counsel
he cannot sign on as cocounsel, he would have to fire his atorney and go pro se with the attorney staying on as support. this is not the best idea. it would be better to just hire another attorney, who can work as cocounsel.
