Legal Question in Criminal Law in Florida

I signed my husbands name to a check for a deposit on a steam cleaner. I took the cash money and paid for the item but forgot to pick up the check. two weeks later she is trying to cash the check. My husband has NO intentions of charging me w/forgery because I sign his name all the time (not anymore) The bank called my husband and WE have straightened everything out BUT since she has the check she is trying to cash it ans she knew I was NOT on the account that the check was to be held until I paid cash for the steam cleaner. I have never received the product anyway!!!! What can I /we do to stop this woman she was ticketed for trespassing by a Sherriff on our property 2 days ago because she was asking for MORE money.

Stop payment on the check? Tell her to stay away or sue you for the deposit money. File for a restraining order if she ever comes near your property again.
