Legal Question in Criminal Law in Florida
single car wreck
driver's BAL below legal limit.
police found pot.
careless driving.
speeding.
driver has lost license twice before why i don't know.
passenger dies in wreck.
driver had to give police blood the driver has not been arrested and the police are still investigating..
police say they will have finished investigating about 3 months. why does it take so long and what can the driver expect? any more info would be nice

I think the driver can expect to be charged with vehicular homicide at a minimum and maybe dui manslaughter. I think the toxicology takes a while, plus accident reconstruction. If this is a personal situation, I have experince in this kind of casse and am available for consultation.
