Legal Question in Criminal Law in Florida
snitching
basically my buddy got busted growing marijuana. i happened to be there when they came. my buddy got misdemeanor growing. they didnt charge me with anything, but they told me i needed to rat someone out or they would go back and find some way to slap me with some drug charges. are they trying to scare me into helping or can they really do something like that? i made no written statements nor did i sign anything saying i would cooperate. should i blow them off, or can they really take legal action on me?

It's tough to say. It doesn't sound like they have anything on you, but you should consult a criminal lawyer right away.
