Legal Question in Criminal Law in Florida
My son was arrested in Florida for possesion of marijuanna. He got out of jail on bond and didn't go to his court date. He is now living out of state. Does crossing state line make this a higher offense?

No, crossing a state line does not enhance the potential punishment. He could possible face an additional charge for failing to appear though.
