Legal Question in Criminal Law in Florida
My son also was arrested in Orange county for warrants in Seminole county and we found out that they were supposed to pick him up within 24 hours, being there were no charges in Orange county, but here it is 8 days later and the judge stated that if they did not pick him up within the next 24 hours they were going to release him on ROR. Is there any recourse for him having to stay in the Orange county jail for more than a week, when Seminole county has failed to pick him up? We also found out they were going to pick him up, but cancelled the transport.
