my son got arrested for selling marijuana schedule 1. i don't know what it means i did not get to know any details because he is 19. he got time served, well he violated probation now they are saying he could get 15 years, is this correct. It happened in Florida

Yes, it sounds correct.

You need to get with his public defender, who will only speak with you if he is present.

Go to probation and parole and get some answers. Sometimes the violation of parole is only technical and the court waves any jail if a fine or restitution is paid. However, if this is a situation where he tested positive for drugs while on parole he could go to jail for fifteen years or less; or, if you pay for him to go to a rehabilitation program at the order of the court, he might get off. However, he needs to stay away from drugs and alcohol!
