Legal Question in Criminal Law in Florida
my son was convicted of trafficing stolen goods, he was sentenced to a year in prison and 14 months of community control, and $5000 dollars restitution. He has 1 month of community control left and still owes
$2100. He was told by his officer that if it is not paid in a month that he will be violated. Can they send him back to prison. He has not been violated or been in any kind of trouble.

It is possible as he has not paid the remaining money yet. Your son should hire a defense lawyer who may be able to negotiate a deal to keep your son from violating. The attorney may advise your son to make another payment, then explain to the judge that he needs more time to pay the restitution.
Good Luck,
