Legal Question in Criminal Law in Florida

my son was murdered and they let the murderer walk

how can orange county sheriff dept let a man who murdered my 17 year old son and turn around and say that they cant find a florida statute to hold hem.Then when i search the florida statutes it states that there are several statutes chapter790,790.15 ,790,01782 and more can somebody help me to figure this out please write me back or call anytime its so hard to lose a son.and your law enforcement has shown such gross negligence towards my son and my family sincerly--name removed---name removed--407 822 4766

It's impossible to say without your explaining the facts involved in the death of your son. Perhaps the sheriff's department believes that the facts don't exactly fit the statutes you've listed, therefore no charges can be filed. You can repost in this forum, giving the complete facts, meet with a criminal lawyer, or perhaps meet with someone at the State Attorney's Office.
