Legal Question in Criminal Law in Florida
my son is in prison and they came and got him and brought him back to his home county jail. He has no idea why. All the paper work says is the judge ordered a "motion to obtain witness". Does this mean he is being called as a witness for someone else?

There are several possibilities but it sounds like he is a witness and they subpoenaed him back to local court to testify. You may want to contact the state attorney to see if that is the case.
