Legal Question in Criminal Law in Florida

help with son first time in trouble

My son got tied up with a person that had a past problem of taking item from cars. Past 50 acount and did time as a child. He got out and got my son involved in the same thing. This is the first time he has been in trouble and he sits in jail with 26 counts of different things. Bail set @ 47K. question is what is he looking at? Now he has a PD assigned and need to know if I need to let it ride. spoke with one lawyer and said to let PD handle it. Has been charge with item in my truck that I know are mine and police will not let me get. They say I am last to retrive items taken from my truck. IE cell phone, that he has charge of bulgry with 2-way divise. CD's and radio that we had in truck from vac. the week before. I can not afford bail because of these charges and can not have them droped.

I disagree. I think you should consider retaining a lawyer for him. DO NOT bond him out. Use the $ to hire a lawyer. The first thing the lawyer can do is to move for a bond hearing to have the bond reduced significantly. What county is this?
