Legal Question in Criminal Law in Florida

my son just became of a warrant issued in north carolina for abuse verbal threat against his ex- girlfriend that alledge happen 5 yrs ago. i just had him move with me in fla where thet are claiming he can not stay with me due to this criminal charge,and if i ignore there reguest i could be forced to move out also,i just moved in april 15 on a year lease.they are giving him 2 wks to clear this up which i know it will take longer since out of state,and must leave within that time period,what can i do???not ready to move out,im still unpacking and trying to help my son out
