Legal Question in Criminal Law in Florida
my son just did a 2 year sentence in prison. There was a detainer at the county jail where he is now. Prior to going to prison he already served 3 weeks in county and he has been there for 3 weeks now. He had a vop this is what the detainer was for. He has an arraignment on 8/1/14. Will he get time served, a bond or can they keep him? Thank you. Jessie

I can't tell you what he will be sentenced to, but he should be getting credit for all the time he has in custody on the vop.
