my son is 21 years old was on probation for strong arm robbery, he violated 1st with intoxication did 21 days and told his probation would be revoked if any other charges. He just got arrested for burglary and would like to what do you think his outcome would be he was diagnosed in jail the 1st time with szchenofrenia and needs help would requesting inpatient rehabilitation be considered? thank you look forward to response.

The outcome will depend on the score sheet, his prior record and the circumstances of the new charge. Each case is different. The fact that he is mentally ill could be a mitigating factor, and could possibly allow him to attend mental health court in some jurisdictions.
