Legal Question in Criminal Law in Florida
my son's teacher threatened to "take off her belt and whoop his ass" and told my son that I gave the teacher permission to take him home with her to straighten him out. These threats were make in front of the class, so there are many witnesses. Can she be arrested for her actions?

While her actions may violate school board policy, she didn't commit a crime. You should speak with the taecher, then maybe the principal, about the matter. On the other hand, maybe your son deserved it.
