Speedy Trial
A neighbor's son is still in jail way past the time stated for a ''speedy trial'' and still has no court date. Legal ? ? ?

YES... legal. But a motion should be made for expiration of speedy trial, and discharge of the case. Of course there are many possibilities, including the fact that speedy has already been wavied. Check with your lawyer. GOOD LUCK.
