Legal Question in Criminal Law in Florida
After spending time in prison how can one seek for Commutations. The sentence should have only been about three years but was given twenty years. Have tried everything but have been denied by every court system. How to proceed after half the time is done with out incidences. Is there something in place to help someone in the Florida system. This is what the question is Commutations terms.

You can apply for a pardon with the governor. However, the process ever since Gov. Scott has been in office it has been anywhere from 4-6 years just to make a decision. You don't need an attorney and you can get the clemency/pardon paperwork online.
