Legal Question in Criminal Law in Florida
In the State of Florida, can a county administrator that oversees the budget and finance section of a major county department, route a government contract for $100k to his personal company, using a third party?
This seems very questionable and possibly illegal under Florida's unlawful compensation laws.

I agree that it sounds very questionable. As to whether it is illegal, there are a lot of variables, and when it comes to government work specifically, there are often loopholes. You may want to contact an unrelated government official to investigate any wrongdoing. Possibly go to the press. Or if you are involved in any way, seek an attorney.
