You can retain an attorney who can then have the matter set for a hearing before the appropriate court in the county in which your husband was charged. With proper paperwork signed by your husband, the attorney can negotiate a plea and enter the plea on behalf of your husband in abstentia.

I strongly suggest that you contact a Florida attorney to discuss the specifics of this matter. Your husband might not be so lucky the next time and might be taken to jail and held due to the outstanding warrant.

It would be best to hire a florida to see if it can be handled without his presence in Fl. Odds are he will have to come back.
