Legal Question in Criminal Law in Florida
state wants me to plea guilty to grand theft and pay restitution to 2 individuals that "claim" that I stole money from them. This is a complete lie. All of which is heresay information, no proof, no evidence, nothing. My ex boss has contacted these individuals and has been tampering with them. Can I be convicted of this based on heresay information? They just picked a figure, and said "that's what she took". State is pursuing these bogus charges

Your remedy is to fight this. In other words, hire an attorney and go to trial.
