If over 10 years ago you wrote a check out which you belie you paid and you moved and over the last 7 years you had NCIC checks on you base on your job and it always came out clean now they are hearing they found a warrent on you(they think wrg ss# and dob) misameanor. what do i do.I do a lot of volenteer wk in state prisons(minister) and this pass weekend I got the news which is wrong. how do i find out who what where.I've been living a perfect life the pass ten years. never did time. but i question myself is there a check i never clear and if so why is this coming up now after all these years, if this is true.I've won numerous awards from prison officals for my ministry work in the state jails now I here this. It cannot be true. never did time (2days) just cover checks to grocery stores that were written.

It is important that you address the warrant that has been issued for you. If you are stopped even for a minor traffic violation there is a good chance that you will be taken to jail until a bond is posted on the case where there the warrant was issued or you see a first appearance judge.

You should also contact the clerk of court where the warrant was issued to find out information about the case.
