Legal Question in Criminal Law in Florida
Statute of Limitations
My boyfriend was at livestock in Pasco County. On April 27, 2006 he was found to be in possession of drug paraphenalia. The officer wrote him a citation and told him he would be notified in writing of his court date. He finally received a notice on June 21, 2006 that his court date has been scheduled. Is there a statute of limitations regarding the amount of time it took them to notify him?
