Legal Question in Criminal Law in Florida
statute of limitations child molestation
Over 6 years ago, alleged child sexual abuse was reported to child services. All parties were interviewed by DCF at that time, and no charges were filed. The child is now 21 years old. The abuse supposedly occured when she was 14. What is the statute of limitations on charges being brought on this?

Re: statute of limitations child molestation
It depends on what the nature of the "abuse" allegation was/is. See Florida Statute 775.15 (13).
