What is the Statute of Limitations in Florida for:

Statute of limitations for misdemeanors are generally 2 years for a first degree mm, 1 year for a second degree. HOWEVER, dont be fooled that if two years have elaspsed since the crime that you are in the clear. The law is VERY complicated and a person can be prosecuted years after the fact.
