What is a stipulated motion for continuance?
My friend was arrested for DUI three months ago. A stipulated motion for continuance was filed last week. What does this mean?

Re: What is a stipulated motion for continuance?
That means both the prosecutor and the defense attorney agree that the case should be continued to a later date than the date which is currently set. The motion still requires the judge's approval, but a judge's approval is fairly routine where both sides have stipulated.
