Depending on the value of the items stolen, you will have to file a complaint in the appropriate court. The complaint must be drafted setting forth the nature of the claim and a basis why relief should be granted.

If the claim warrants it, you should contact an attorney. A suit for civil theft may bring an award for treble damages under Florida law plus a reasonable attorney's fee.
