Legal Question in Criminal Law in Florida
Supeona
I was supeonaed to a trial, my question is do i have to attend? I had already given a signed statement to the detective, shouldn't this be enough. I was going on vaction on that week, i already have tickets and everything. I dont want to loose my money, nor do i want to go to jail. The case was against my brother n law, since this is family is there a law that will protect me from saying anything futher, than my statement. Please advise....

Re: Supeona
You must attend but most prosecutors will work around your schedule. You should call the number on the subpoena.
