Legal Question in Criminal Law in Florida
surrendering to authorities
i know someone who has an outstanding warrant for probation violation in florida for the past year. They want to return to florida soon and turn themself in. I want to know if it is possible to avoid jail time or recieve minimal jail time or is jail time automatic because the warrant has been outstanding for so long? The orginal charge they were on probation for is felony dwls and this person does have a bond.
