Legal Question in Criminal Law in Florida
Can I be suspended from work because I was arrested? I haven't received and paperwork from the state yet on their decision to proceed. I was released without bond. The charge is a felony, but I plan to plea not guilty.

Your employer can fire or suspend you for any reason they see fit, including an arrest. You are still presumed innocent and if you plan on fighting this, then make sure you get a good attorney.
