Legal Question in Criminal Law in Florida
suto theft from employer
I work for a car dealer as a car salesmean, and have used cars from time to time when my car was giving me difficuty. My manager had given me verbal permssion over\ the last 14 months. In June I was arresed on a Monday morning for a car I had borrowed on Friday. Of course the manager is denying he gave me permssion. I turned 21 in May and have driven the cars on several occassons to get gas, and other things. Now they are saying that because I am not 25 I should not be driving the cars off the lot at all because the company's insuracnce does not cover anyone under 25 driving their vehicles. My arraingnment is August 8th and I am really concerned. I ahve never had anything like this happen to me. I wrote a letter to the owner of the company explaining my side of the story to try to get him to drop the charges but I am not sure that I should give it to him before talking to an attorney. Can you help with my questions? Martin

Do not give that letter to anyone without a lawyer.
