Legal Question in Criminal Law in Florida
Teen Court Date June 11th
My son had been missing runaway for three days. i called 911 and the Sheriff officer came and acquired information. Throughout that process and me taking the initiative on looking for my son throughout the community. Long story short...he was found and in the car with an adult. He was arrested and a miniture bag of marijuana was found on his possession. He then went to juvenille detention and released that night. I had asked if was fine for him to go to NY--because his father he will now stay with. We have a June 11th date in teen court and when I contacted their offive and the juvenille office--no one can give me an answer (legal advise) on if he needs to come back to the state of FL and appear in court and/or I as his parent come on his behalf. I do not want my ignorance and/or uneducation of matters as such to hinder my son in any possible way. Can someone please help me with my concerns/questions.
Very Much Appreciated,
Leria Joseph
