Legal Question in Criminal Law in Florida
Testify
An incident happened while visiting in Florida. We live in Wisconsin.
If my daughter (who is a minor)is supenoed to testify in a Florida court, does she have to?
What happens if I refuse to take her to Florida to do so?
It is embarrassing, and humilitating, and I do not want her to have to go through with that.

Re: Testify
I am sorry, I do not know what the power of the Florida courts are to compel your daughter to testify. However, my instinct is that they do not have the power to do so, because there is no personal jurisdiction over your daughter. Sorry I could not be of more help in this instance.
