Legal Question in Criminal Law in Florida
If in a text chat with someone you meet online she just stops talking. And in the course of a couple of minutes you send several texts asking if you offended the person but get no response. You ask if she wants you to stop talking and get no response and you you if she still wants to be friends and you finally say that she said nothing and you don’t know how to interpret that. I plan to leave her alone but has any harassment yet occurred? She never said anything. I sent several texts with no reply. She never said don’t talk.

If doesn't appear to rise to the level of criminal harassment. However, it would probably be best to leave it alone at this point.
