Legal Question in Criminal Law in Florida
Threats over internet....
i spoke to someone on the phone that gave me death threats. i was not able to record the death threats but a few minutes after hanging up i got an e mail from the same person saying " sleep with one eye open"
is this a serious threat?
ive been very scared for my family ????

It would be serious to me. Call the police. A threat isn't less real just because it heppens over the internet. In fact, it's better proof. The only question is, did you have a valid fear of imminent bodily harm? A defense attorney will say, "How can it be imminent if it's over the internet?" But that's not your problem. Again, call the police.
